Mix colors to create new shades

Our color mixer lets you combine multiple colors with precise proportions. Unlike paint mixing, digital mixing is additive: the more colors you add, the more the result tends towards light. Mix two or more colors using different blend modes (LAB, HSL, RGB) and a customizable ratio to obtain a precise intermediate hue. Instantly convert between HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV and CMYK, adjust hue, saturation and lightness with real-time preview and check WCAG AA/AAA contrast for sRGB-compliant accessibility.

    Additive RGB mixing

Each color contributes its red, green and blue values. Result is weighted average of each channel. Red + Green = Yellow (not brown like in paint!).

    Custom proportions

Use sliders to give more or less weight to each color. Create subtle or dramatic mixes according to your needs.

    Create intermediate colors

Find the perfect color between two existing shades. Ideal for creating smooth transitions in gradients or finding an accent color that ties your palette together.

    Soften or darken a color

Mix with white for pastels, black for deep tones, gray for more neutral tones. Precisely adjust modification strength with proportions.

    Real-time visualization

Instantly see the result of your mix. Preview updates with each color or proportion change. Experiment freely!

    Result export

Once satisfied, copy the HEX, RGB or HSL code of your new color. Use it directly in your web, design or development projects.

Color mixing: additive and subtractive modes

RGB mixing (additive, screens) gives different results from CMYK mixing (subtractive, print). Our tool supports both modes for faithful results whether for digital or print.
